REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES
Buffalo County is seeking the services of an appraiser for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
Under the Hazard Mitigation Grant, Buffalo County will be assisting homeowners who experienced damages to their primary residences as a result of the flooding that occurred on August 11, 2016, which will include the acquisition of the properties.
There are two (2) projects that appear to need appraisals at this time, but this number could be lower as the projects are inspected and possible resolutions considered.
Upon Referral, the appraiser will be expected to contact the homeowner within five (5) working days to schedule an appointment. The Appraiser must notify the grant administrator of the date of the appointment. (Note that the appointment does not have to occur within five days, but contact must be made with the homeowner for scheduling). Homeowners must be invited to accompany the appraiser during the appraisal visit.

Proposals must be received by 4:00 p.m. on October 10, 2017.
