Every United States citizen age 18 or older who has resided in a municipality (city, township or village) or ward within the municipality for twenty-eight (28) consecutive days before any election is an eligible voter in that election district or ward. Any United States Citizen age 18 or older who moves within this state later than twenty-eight (28) days prior to an election shall vote at his or her previous election district or ward. Any person convicted of treason, felony or bribery is not allowed to vote unless his civil rights are restored.
