~Duties of our Office~

Receive and Disburse all County funds ~ Oversee Investment Accounts under direction of Finance Committee ~ Maintain and reconcile County Bank Accounts ~ Collect all postponed and delinquent property taxes ~ Follow Tax Deed process for taxes delinquent for 3 or more years ~ Update all property information with filings from the Register of Deeds office ~ Work with assessors to maintain yearly assessments ~ Calculate and print all tax bills for local municipalities ~ Answer questions regarding taxes and taxation process ~ and any other information requested by public
