One of the most common diseases involving ticks is Lyme Disease. Lyme Disease is spread through the black-legged or deer tick. The common signs and symptoms of Lyme Disease are flu-like symptoms, a red rash in the shape of a bulls-eye, and shooting pains. These signs and symptoms are not always present. Lyme Disease often goes undiagnosed because the signs and symptoms can be different in each case.
